Prayer of the Day

Prayer for today (6/22/17)

Thank you, Lord, for another beautiful day. Thank you for food, shelter, water, clothes and a loving family. Thank you for being there when we call upon your holy name and being God all by yourself. “Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips” Psalms 141:3.

Prayer for today (6/20/17)

Jesus, our Lord and Savior, thank you for another day and for being so good to me and everyone else. Lord, you are so good and so worthy to be praised. You are better to me than I am to myself. Thank you for forgiving us of our sin. I pray for the whole world that some will hear your call and come to you. I love you with all my heart and soul. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer for today (6/19/17)

Father, as we sit in our rocking chairs of comfort, help us to realize that many people are hungry and sad. There are those with very little earthly goods. Give us compassionate hearts and a desire to be a good Samaritan. Forgive our sinful pride, and help us to make a difference in our beautiful world. Amen.

God is not antiquated or hard of hearing or is he lacking wisdom. He is God Almighty. The living God, not some old guy in the sky. He is Elohim our strong creator, the maker of heaven and earth. He cares for us immensely and loves us immeasurably. Let's joyfully worship him in spirit and in truth.

Prayer for today (6/16/17)

I thank you Heavenly Father for sacrificing your son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross to pay the penalty for sin. I now believe in him and accept him as my Lord and Savior. Thank you. I’m saved in him. Amen.

Prayer for today (6/14/17)

Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for being in love with us. Help us to show how we feel about others in the way we treat them. Father, I understand love is not always about me being in need of something, it’s about me attending to the needs of others. I know I can’t save the world with what little I have, but I know who can, and that would be you, Father. Help us to depend on you for what we are in needm of, so we can lighten the load on the people who we love. Help us to stop stressing out, so the people we love won’t be stressing out either. Show us how to take everything to you in prayer. Amen.

Prayer for today (6/13/17)

Jesus, my blessed redeemer, be ever so near to me, for I need you every hour, for all of my days and forever in my life. You alone provide for all of my needs. My cup is filled and running over from your mercy, grace and unending love. You hear my prayers and they are answered according to your will for me. O what a Lord and Savior you are to call me your own. Thank you Jesus, with love. Amen.

Prayer for today (6/11/17)

It should not be so hard to love one another. For Romans 13:10-14 says, “Love worketh no ill to be his neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer for today (6/9/17)

Father, thank you for waking me up this morning and starting me on my way. You are so good to me. I appreciate everything you have ever done for me and where you are taking me right now. Help me to be humble in my everyday walk with you. I realize it’s not about me, it’s what you want me to do for you. Help me to always have a willing mind to obey and follow you. Amen.

Prayer of the Day

Prayer for today (6/8/17)

Holy Jesus, Lord of love and life, the news is troubling when people who are innocent and defenseless have to suffer from oppression and those who unfortunately lose their lives. We pray for these dear ones and cannot imagine what unspoken things they endure that we cannot hardly bear to know. Help us to pray even more than we do for this suffering to find it’s end. Give us the gift of love for our fellow man as you have taught us. Be with us, I pray, as we are united in one purpose, to bring peace and joy to your blessed kingdom, Amen.

To admire without coveting. To give without demanding. To except without depending. To enjoy without surfeiting. To tolerate without patronizing. To reject without condemning. To disagree without resisting. To forgive without condemning. To direct without driving. To control without suppressing. To love without possessing. To praise without flattering. To work without weariness. To pray without ceasing.

Almighty God, we remember all U.S. service members who died in our nation’s wars. They gave their lives to preserve our freedoms and way of life. Comfort their families and friends as they suffer with the loss of their loved ones. Bless everyone who conducted or attended Memorial Day observances. Lord, we humbly ask you to hear our prayer. Amen.

Prayer of the Day

Prayer for today (6/5/17)

Father in the name of Jesus, we thank for all things that you send our way, because we know it’s all for your glory and it’s for our good. I’m going to praise you anyway, because you know what you are doing even when I don’t. Lord, I ask that you look on the sick and the afflicked today, they really do need your help, and Lord I ask that you help them. You know what they are in need of before they start to ask. Father, heal their bodies, souls and minds, turn their life around in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer for today (6/4/17)

Father, help us to plant a garden of joy every day, and weed out negative thinking. Your precious word teaches us to be joyful in the Lord no matter what our circumstances are. You are our rock and salvation, and we praise you for who you are. Let us share our garden of joy with the world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer for today (6/02/17)

Heavenly Father, I’m so grateful you allowed me to see another day. Thank you this morning for my life, health and strength. I’m able to see and move only because you allowed me to do so. My Heavenly Father, you’ve been real good to me, and I will never forget that. So many things could have gone wrong, but you given me another chance. Thank you for my second chance. Amen.

Prayer for today (6/1/17)

Our autonomous God, who never sleeps nor slumbers and knows exactly what to do about our perplexing problems. He is not puzzled or searching under every proverbial rock looking for a solution. Instead, he is waiting for us to come to him, heavy load in hand, willing to lay our burdens at the alter before him so he can resolve them and restore us. Nothing is too hard for God.

Prayer of the Day

Prayer for today (5/31/17)

Thank you for another day, Jesus. Take my hand and head and lead me today as I feel life is very hard at times. Days are becoming shorter for me. I want to be ready. Jesus, be with people all over the world. Bless the homeless, sick, lonely and depressed and those experiencing grief. Give them the needed strength to keep going. Be with our country. We are living in a troubled world. You are not pleased. Seems like everyone is pulling in a different direction. In time, I know you will solve all our many problems. I just want to hear, at the end of the day, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” In your precious name. Amen.
