Rolling at home: Mercer set modern program records for points and total yards in a half and yards in a game in its win over Stetson. The Bears travel to Tennessee Tech on Saturday.

Bouncing back: Georgia Southern was shut out by West Virginia to open the season, but it rebounded nicely with an easy home win over Western Michigan. The Eagles host The Citadel on Saturday.

Bouncing back, II: Fort Valley State struggled in its opener and for the early part of its home opener against Lane. But the Wildcats rallied to knock off the Dragons, and they travel to Clark Atlanta on Saturday.

Still perfect: Kennesaw State improved to 2-0 in its first season with a blowout of Edward Waters. The Owls host Shorter on Saturday.

Finally, a win: Georgia State had gone 2-33 the past three seasons, and they were 0-15 in the Sun Belt Conference the past two seasons. But they got a conference win on the road at New Mexico State. The Panthers travel to Oregon on Saturday.
