Georgia Southern head coach Willie Fritz said he was pleased with the improvements he saw from his team on the second day of preseason practice Tuesday.
“We showed a lot of improvement as far as the mechanics of practice from (Monday),” Fritz said in a release. “We have to keep coaching how we want to practice, especially as we start to get pads on.”
The Eagles practiced for more than two hours and are slated to practice in shells (helmets and shoulder pads) Wednesday.
