Clemson was picked Tuesday to win the ACC championship by the 158 media members in attendance at the ACC Football Kickoff.
The Tigers were picked to win the Atlantic Division, while Georgia Tech was picked to repeat as the Coastal Division winner. Georgia Tech got 96 first-place votes and finished with 991 points. Virginia Tech was second, followed Miami, Duke, North Carolina, Pittsburgh and Virginia. Clemson got 101 first-place votes and finish with 1,032 points. Florida State was second, followed by Louisville, N.C. State, Boston College, Syracuse and Wake Forest.
Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson was picked as the 2015 ACC Preseason Player of the Year. Pittsburgh running back James Conner was second, followed by Georgia Tech quarterback Justin Thomas.
