Oregon State senior cornerback and former Northside standout Steven Nelson has accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl all-star game, Oregon State’s athletics department announced Tuesday.
Nelson played for two years for the Beavers, joining the program before the 2013 season after playing previously at the College of the Sequoias, where he earned All-Northern California Football Association honors. At Oregon State, he had 122 total tackles, eight interceptions and 16 pass breakups.
The Senior Bowl will be played Jan. 24 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama, and will be televised by the NFL Network
