Mercer basketball head coach Bob Hoffman announced the signing of forward Mason Green on Tuesday.

Green averaged 11 points, seven rebounds, 4.6 blocked shots and three assists as a senior at Eagle’s Landing Christian. The A 6-foot-10, 220-pounder led ELCA to a 21-7 record and its first appearance in the GHSA Class 1A private school playoffs.

“What really stands out about Mason is that he can guard all five positions on the floor,” Hoffman said. “His ability to change shots in the lane will be a great asset for us. I look forward to his being a part of a really good front court that is coming back next year.”
