STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) -- Cooper Criswell and three other pitchers combined for a shutout as the Inland Empire 66ers defeated the Stockton Ports 7-0 on Tuesday.
Criswell (4-6) went five scoreless innings, allowing five hits while striking out six and walking two to get the win. Hogan Harris (0-2) went 2 2/3 innings, allowing three runs and five hits in the California League game. He also struck out four and walked one.
Up 1-0 in the third, Inland Empire added to its lead when Leonardo Rivas hit a two-run home run.
The Ports were held scoreless for the seventh time this season, while the 66ers' staff recorded their fourth shutout of the year.
Inland Empire improved to 6-3 against Stockton this season.
