Hunter, Macias lift Leon over Saltillo 7-4

LEON, Mexico (AP) -- Cedric Hunter tripled, doubled and singled, driving home two runs as the Bravos de Leon topped the Saraperos de Saltillo 7-4 on Wednesday. The win snapped a six-game losing streak for the Bravos and a five-game winning streak for the Saraperos.

Brandon Macias singled three times with two RBIs for Leon.

Down 3-2, the Bravos took the lead for good with five runs in the fifth inning. The Bravos sent 10 men to the plate as Carlos Lopez and Matt Clark hit RBI singles en route to the four-run lead.

Leon right-hander Yasutomo Kubo (3-3) picked up the win after allowing four runs on nine hits over eight innings. Opposing starter Raul Carrillo (4-2) took the loss in the Mexican League game after a rough outing in which he allowed seven runs and 12 hits over 4 2/3 innings.
