DURHAM, N.C. (AP) -- Nick Solak hit a two-run home run and had two hits, driving in three, as the Durham Bulls exploded for a season-high in runs in a 12-1 win over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on Wednesday.
Durham took the lead in the first when Kean Wong scored on a single and Jake Cronenworth scored when a runner was thrown out and Solak hit a two-run home run.
The Bulls later scored in four additional innings to put the game away, including three runs in the seventh.
Jake Faria (3-1) got the win in relief while Lehigh Valley starter JoJo Romero (2-2) took the loss in the International League game.
Durham remains undefeated against Lehigh Valley this season at 5-0.
