BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) -- Kaleo Johnson hit a walk-off single with one out in the eighth inning, as the Bowling Green Hot Rods topped the Fort Wayne TinCaps 4-3 on Sunday.
Bryce Brown scored the game-winning run after he led off the inning with a single, advanced to second on a single by Michael Smith and then went to third on an error.
Earlier in the inning, Smith singled, scoring Jake Palomaki to tie the game 3-3.
The Hot Rods scored one run in the sixth before Fort Wayne took a 3-2 lead in the eighth when Xavier Edwards scored on an error.
Nicholas Padilla (2-0) got the win in relief while Dan Dallas (0-1) took the loss in the Midwest League game.
Jawuan Harris was a triple short of the cycle, scoring two runs for the TinCaps.
