Central drills Jordan to set up showdown with Westside

Derrick Evans passed for 258 yards and four touchdowns to lead Central to a 52-28 win over Jordan in Columbus on Friday night.

The Chargers also got 117 rushing yards and two touchdowns from Antonio Sanders.

Ivory Childers, Saxton Keitt and Jakwanis Singleton all caught touchdown passes in the win.

The Chargers (2-1) scored their most points since a 55-0 win over Howard on Oct. 2, 2008.

Central will play undefeated Westside next Friday at Henderson Stadium.
