Two first-quarter touchdowns set the tone for Westside’s 42-6 victory over B.E.S.T. Academy on Saturday at the Ed DeFore Sports Complex.
According to Westside’s Twitter account, the Seminoles built on that early lead, using a blocked put to set up another touchdown. An interception led to another second-quarter touchdown, followed by a touchdown pass off a fake field goal attempt.
Westside led 35-6 at halftime.
The Seminoles (2-2) open GHSA Region 4-3A play Friday at Peach County. B.E.S.T. Academy fell to 1-4.
