As expected, Georgia defensive tackle Trenton Thompson made the trip to Jacksonville for Saturday's rivalry game against Florida.
Thompson has been recovering from a sprained MCL, suffered against Tennessee, and has missed the past two games. Thompson, however, has been a participant in practice throughout the week and figures to jump back into the rotation on the defensive line. For the season, Thompson has 17 tackles.
Also returning for Georgia is inside linebacker Reggie Carter, who suffered a head injury against Tennessee and has also missed the past two games. With Carter back in the fold, he will be expected to see significant minutes against the Gators.
Defensive lineman David Marshall made the trip to Jacksonville after suffering an injury leading up to Georgia's game against Missouri, causing him to miss that game. Marshall returned to practice and was cleared to play. Receiver Jayson Stanley (lower leg) was also cleared to play and made the trip with the team.

Defensive lineman DaQuan Hawkins-Muckle, who has an injury head coach Kirby Smart elected not to disclose, did not travel with the team down to Jacksonville.
While Hawkins-Muckle out, defensive lineman Michael Barnett made the trip with the 70-man travel roster.
