Georgia's support staff continues to grow.
Head coach Kirby Smart has made at least two new recent hires, with Jay Valai joining as a defensive quality control coach and with Hannah Brinks being tabbed as a football graphic design coordinator.
Valai was a former college football safety at Wisconsin from 2007-10. In four years, Valai totaled 154 tackles and 2 interceptions in 48 games played. Since his college career ended, Valai has been a trainer in Texas assisting high school and professional athletes. He helped found the Dallas-area based company Grindhouse Sports Training.
Brinks, a graduate of Alabama, was previously working as a graphic design coordinator at LSU. Brinks was an accomplished swimmer at Alabama, competing at the SEC Championships, NCAA Championships, U.S. Open, U.S. Nationals, World Championship Trials and Olympic Trials.
