Georgia will see a familiar face on the other side of the field when it travels to Mississippi this coming season.
The Rebels announced that former linebacker Detric Bing-Dukes, who transferred from Georgia and spent this past season at junior college program Iowa Western. Bing-Dukes will be considered a redshirt sophomore with three years of eligibility remaining.
Bing-Dukes could potentially compete for a starting spot, along with Rommel Mageo, who is a graduate transfer from Oregon State. Bing-Dukes never logged a snap before transferring from Georgia.
Former Georgia linebacker Christian Robinson, now a Mississippi defensive graduate assistant, seemed pleased with the Bing-Dukes joining the Rebels.
