Georgia outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins was unable to finish Saturday’s game due to what was described as a hip flexor injury.
“Jordan’s been hurt for a couple of weeks,” Georgia defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt said. “He’s been playing hurt. He tried to play tonight and he couldn’t go.”
Jenkins started the game but was unable to do much while on the field. He came on and off the field throughout Saturday’s 38-31 loss to Tennessee and hobbled at times in between plays.
Richt said he is unsure how serious the injury is. Jenkins’ injury limited him to the point where it marked the first time all season he didn’t log a statistic.
"I think he tried to come and play in the second half, but he couldn’t go," Richt said. "I don’t know how serious it is, but that’s what it was.”
