Isaiah McKenzie's status for Saturday's game against Tennessee is questionable at best.
For the second consecutive day, McKenzie was not present during the media viewing period of practice. McKenzie injured his left hamstring in last Saturday's 38-10 loss to Alabama. McKenzie dealt with a prior hamstring injury during the preseason.
If McKenzie is unable to play, junior Reggie Davis will likely assume punt return duties against the Volunteers.
Junior center Brandon Kublanow was present for practice and participating for the second consecutive day. Kublanow was rotating with senior Hunter Long at center. Kublanow's right ankle is heavily wrapped.
Another green addition
Receiver Jayson Stanley and defensive back Reggie Wilkerson were once again in green jerseys during Wednesday's practice. Receiver Shakenneth Williams was in addition to the non-contact injury club as he was sporting a green No. 23.
Malcolm Mitchell banged his knee on the gauntlet during a wide receiver drill but appeared to be OK.
Mitchell did check in with a trainer but resumed practice. He continued without appearing to have any issues.
A representative of the Chicago Bears was present for Wednesday's practice, a day after members of the Houston Texans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers were on site.
