What a win means for Georgia: This is arguably the toughest game on Georgia’s schedule this season. Getting past the Tide would keep the Bulldogs unbeaten at the start of a three-game stretch that includes Tennessee and Missouri up next. Georgia would be in great position in the SEC East race with a win.
What a win means for Alabama: A win would keep the Crimson Tide’s SEC championship game hopes alive. Alabama already has one loss, and two this early would hurt its hopes tremendously given the strength of the SEC West. The Crimson Tide will be desperate for a win to avoid falling to 3-2.
