Inside linebacker Reggie Carter and fullback Christian Payne made the trip and will be available for Saturday's game against Vanderbilt.
Neither played in the season-opening 51-14 win over Louisiana-Monroe last week. Payne was wearing a heavy wrap around his left leg to protect a cracked fibula he sustained in Georgia's first preseason scrimmage.
Payne is listed as wearing No. 47 for Saturday's game instead of the No. 41 jersey he's worn throughout the preseason. Towns is slated to wear No. 86 for the second consecutive week in honor of senior receiver Justin Scott-Wesley, who is doubtful to play his final season.
Georgia traveled eight receivers with its 70-man roster.
Available are Malcolm Mitchell, Reggie Davis, Isaiah McKenzie, Terry Godwin, Michael Chigbu, Jayson Stanley, Shakenneth Williams and Kenneth Towns.
Georgia appears to be at full strength outside of A.J. Turman, who did not travel. Last Sunday, head coach Mark Richt said Turman was dealing with an ankle injury.
