As of now, the plan is for Georgia to bring linebacker Reggie Carter to Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt.
However, Carter’s could be a limited participant in Georgia’s SEC opener.
"I don't know yet. If we bring him, which we're planning to bring him at this point, I'm sure he'll get in there," Richt said. "How much, I don't know."
Carter missed the season-opener against Louisiana-Monroe last week due to a sore shoulder. Richt previously said he wants to ensure Carter’s shoulder is fully healthy to limit the risk of re-injury.
