Georgia will wear its red jerseys this Saturday at Vanderbilt.

The Commodores are opting to wear a light gray -- or "deep water" -- alternate jersey designed by Nike. As a result, the Bulldogs will accommodate Vanderbilt by wearing their home uniform.

This isn't anything out of the norm as Georgia will wear red on the road at Georgia Tech and LSU, two schools that wear white uniforms often at home.

During his Tuesday press conference, Richt wasn't sure what the deal was but said he'd have his team wear red if Vanderbilt needed Georgia to.

"I've never not accommodated that for a home team," Richt said.

Georgia later confirmed the uniform change late Tuesday afternoon.
