Video: Mark Richt discusses Georgia's opening win
ATHENS -- There was plenty of attention focused on Greyson Lambert as he made his debut as Georgia's starting quarterback Saturday at Sanford Stadium.
He didn't seem bothered by that one bit.
The former Virginia transfer settled in nicely in his first start as the Bulldogs rolled to a 51-14 victory over Louisiana-Monroe in a game that featured a long lightning delay and then was called with 9:54 remaining after another lightning strike.
Lambert completed 8-of-12 passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns. Sophomore Nick Chubb rolled up 120 yards and two touchdowns on just 16 carries, and Keith Marshall made his long-awaited return from a knee injury to rush for 73 yards and two touchdowns.
