Former Georgia receiver Michael Bennett signed an undrafted free-agent contract with the Cincinnati Bengals on Wednesday.
Bennett was a member of the Bulldogs from 2010-2014 and was Georgia's second-leading receiver a year ago with 404 yards and four touchdowns, but had a team-high 37 receptions. His most productive season yardage-wise came in 2013, when he totaled 538 yards and four scores. In his career, Bennett 1,607 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Bennett, who played high school football at Alpharetta, started 11 of Georgia's 13 games in 2014.
However, Bennett tore his left anterior cruciate ligament during Georgia's 37-14 Belk Bowl win over Louisville, which helped lead to him going undrafted. Bennett also tore his right ACL during the 2012 season.
