Five-star quarterback prospect Jacob Eason announced that he will sign his financial-aid agreement with Georgia this Friday.

Eason, whose family resides in Lake Stevens, Washington, is verbally committed to the Bulldogs as the highest-profile member of the class of 2016. Eason is considered among the top overall prospects in the country, regardless of position.

Eason announced he was signing the financial aid agreement on his personal Twitter account. Eason’s plan all along has been to enroll early at Georgia this January.

Eason, who committed to Georgia over a year ago in July of 2014, is signing before his high school football team takes part in a scheduled practice.

He's considered the top overall quarterback by Rivals.com while Scout.com and 247sports.com rank him the second best signal caller in his class.

As a high school junior, Eason completed 68.6 percent of his throws for 2,829 yards, 32 touchdowns and three interceptions.
