ATHENS -- Redshirt sophomore Aulden Bynum has been taking reps as Georgia’s second-team left tackle behind John Theus. Before preseason began, Richt said he was unsure who would serve as the backup left tackle. It appears, at least for the time being, that Bynum is the guy the Bulldogs are looking at for that role.
“Little by little he’s been inching up, and he’s getting better at what he does,” Georgia head coach Mark Richt said. “We would love to see him gain a little more weight, and continue to improve his technique and all that kind of thing. But I think he’s moving in the right direction.”
