ATHENS -- Georgia hosted a high-prized visitor at Saturday’s practice.

Running back recruit Elijah Holyfield was on hand at Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall taking in the team’s session. Holyfield, a senior at Woodward Academy this season, is considered a consensus four-star recruit by Scout.com, 247Sports.com and Rivals.com. Holyfield is among the top prospects in the state of Georgia this year.

Holyfield is the son of former boxing great Evander Holyfield, the former heavyweight champion of the world. He ran for 1,735 yards and 25 touchdowns as a high school junior a year ago.

Elijah Holyfield is set to announce his oral commitment at Woodward Academy on Sept. 4. His final five schools are Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.
