Chubb, Theus, Jenkins, Morgan earn media preseason All-SEC first-team honors

Four Georgia players were named to 2015 Preseason Media Days All-Southeastern Conference first team, the league announced on Friday.

Sophomore running back Nick Chubb, senior outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins, senior offensive tackle John Theus and senior kicker Marshall Morgan all made the list, which was voted by reporters attending this week's SEC Media Days. Chubb received the most votes of any SEC football player with 189. Theus received 129 votes, Jenkins got 121 and Morgan earned 100.

As a freshman in 2014, Chubb led the Bulldogs in rushing with 1,547 yards and 14 touchdowns, with Theus helping pave the way for the big numbers. Jenkins totaled 70 tackles and five sacks. Morgan made 16 of 21 field-goal attempts, which included a long of 53 yards against Charleston Southern.

Georgia's second-teamers included offensive guard Greg Pyke and outside linebacker Leonard Floyd. Receiver Malcolm Mitchell was named to the third team, giving the Bulldogs a total of seven players named to media preseason All-SEC lists.

Here are the full preseason All-SEC lists, with the total number of points in parenthesis:
