ATHENS - Georgia wrapped up the fall signing period with a third signing, and now moves on to the spring, and the big fish that awaits.
Derek Ogbeide, a post player from Pebblebrook High School in Mableton, committed to the Bulldogs on Wednesday, the last day of the fall signing period.
Memphis and Houston were also recruiting Ogbeide.
Ogbeide joins two other high school seniors who signed last week with Georgia: Guard Turtle Jackson from Athens, and small forward E'Torrion Woolridge from Beaumont, Tex. All three are rated three-star prospects by the 247Sports Composite, with Jackson the highest-rated at 123rd nationally.

Ogbeide, listed at 6-foot-8 and 240 pounds, is capable of playing both power forward and center. He could eventually team in the post with Yante Maten, a freshman on this year's team.
Georgia now has one scholarship remaining for next year, and continues to chase after Jaylen Brown, a small forward from Marietta who is among the nation's top prospects. The competition is stiff for Brown, with Kentucky, UCLA, Kansas and Georgia Tech among the contenders.
