Recruiting: Georgia gets another receiver from Tennessee

Georgia continues to load up on receivers for the 2015 recruiting class.

Van Jefferson, a prospect from Brentwood, Tenn., announced his commitment to Georgia on Monday. Jefferson, rated a four-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite, chose Georgia over Ohio State and Tennessee.

He is the son of former Atlanta Falcons receiver Shawn Jefferson, who was an assistant coach last year with the Tennessee Titans, along with current Georgia defensive line coach Tracy Rocker.

Jefferson becomes the fifth receiver commitment in next year's signing class. the others are Terry Godwin, Jayson Stanley, Michael Chigbu and Christian Owens.

Georgia has three senior receivers this year, in starters Chris Conley and Michael Bennett, and reserve Jonathon Rumph. There are also two redshirt juniors, Malcolm Mitchell and Justin Scott-Wesley, who would be playing but have been dealing with injuries.

This makes 21 total commitments for Georgia's signing class.
