Bulldogs Beat

Pregame notes: Jarvis Jones unlikely to play

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Jarvis Jones appears to have just been brought on this trip for moral support.

Georgia's star linebacker is out for this game, at least judging by early warmups. While other Georgia players are warming up in cleats, Jones is in sneakers, standing around in a jacket, his hands in his pockets.

Jones is dealing with a sprained ankle, and hadn't practiced since the loss at South Carolina. Freshman Jordan Jenkins is set to start in his spot.

A few other pregame notes:

- It's a brisk, cloudy evening here in the bluegrass. The temperature should be around 50 at gametime, dropping a bit as the game goes on.

- Reserve receiver Justin Scott-Wesley (hamstring) is definitely out. The team also kept freshman receiver Blake Tibbs at home, continuing the plan to redshirt Tibbs. That leaves the team with six scholarship receivers for this game, including former walk-on Rhett McGowan. Taylor Bradberry, a walk-on, makes it seven receivers.

- The team kept a number of offensive lineman at home: Hunter Long (unknown reason), Zach DeBell (unknown), Kolton Houston (ineligible) and Greg Pyke (redshirting). But the Bulldogs do have 10 offensive linemen.

- Fullback Zander Ogletree is here. I believe this is his first time traveling, unless he did at South Carolina.
