Emotions in the post-game interview space were high Thursday night for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, freshly losers to a good Virginia Tech team, 28-21.
Entering the game, the talk centered around what a "big" game the contest was, how upon it, the Jackets' ACC championship hopes rested upon it and how they needed to play their best game of the year.
They did that.
But it wasn't good enough.
Then, to add insult to injury, they were forced to witness the pre-halftime injury of starting quarterback Joshua Nesbitt. Breaking his right forearm, the senior is done for the season, although he hopes to return in time for a potential bowl game.
Here to recap a ballgame in which the Jackets racked up 346 yards ruhsing, mostly contained Hokies quarterback Tyrod Taylor for one of his least impressive performances of his season and held firm on special teams on all but one play, is Telegraph Georgia Tech beat reporter Coley Harvey.
Recorded in the wee hours Friday morning, he gives his brief take on the game from outside chilly Lane Stadium.
