Can you believe it? Spring practices are over at Georgia Tech, and now the seemingly endless four-month waiting game for football season is about to begin.
I've got to admit, the last few weeks felt like they flew by as the Yellow Jackets went through a period of learning and change as they installed a new defense, moved some players around to new positions and looked to backups to lead their now famed spread option offense. Although all of that could have easily set up for a period of transition, it didn't seem to fully do so. With sophomore Tevin Washington leading the offense, the Yellow Jackets in many ways looked more comfortable running the scheme than they have in recent springs past. The defense seemed to have a cohesion to it that was lacking much of last season. And, for the most part, the old players in new positions seemed to pick right up where their predecesors left off.
To recap the spring practice season, as well as last Saturday's T-Day spring game, The Telegraph's Coley Harvey is here to bring you the final installment of his spring video blog. The blog will return in the coming weeks, and he will have posts appear during the summer in the lead-up to the season. As always, thanks for stopping by to check it out. Enjoy!
