UPDATE from Georgia Tech:
Today's (Friday) practice will be moved from Midtown to Flowery Branch, Ga. Another 20 miles or so northeast of downtown, Flowery Branch is the Atlanta Falcons' training facility. With an indoor practice field there, the Yellow Jackets will get out of the monsoon-like rains we're getting in the metro-area today, and still have an opportunity to get some work in.

The workouts at Flowery Branch are NOT open to the public. Let me repeat, unlike all the other practices this spring, today's workouts are NOT open to the public. They will be CLOSED.
The Yellow Jackets will also have their regularly-scheduled scrimmage tomorrow morning at the indoor Flowery Branch facility, and not in Bobby Dodd Stadium on campus. Like today, the scrimmage session will be CLOSED to the general public.
Today's practice will also be pushed back 30 minutes to 4 p.m., and tomorrow's scrimmage will be held at 9 a.m. Check back to macon.com and the TechTalk for further updates throughout the weekend from Georgia Tech. Also, be sure to follow instant updates on twitter.com/macontechtalk.
