While it's on my mind, wanted to post a little something else in the blog. I've been meaning to do this for a day or two, and kept getting sidetracked.
Jim Hart, blogger-extraordinaire for the BBuzzoff message boards and radio personality on the MTM (Meet the Machine) Radio show, asked me to get the word out about an exciting edition to his online radio show.

Earlier this week, he announced that Derrick Moore, Tech team chaplain and advisor, would be contributing regularly to his show, which can be found on Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. on 1160 WCFO News Talk radio in the Atlanta area, and online at mtmradio.net.
Moore is an author of two books, appeared on a reality TV show recently, and is most notably remembered for his days playing in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers, Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons and Phoenix Cardinals. Mr. Moore doesn't know this, but my biggest memory of him came following the Florida State game last season. He was praying with the team following the emotional victory, won on Cooper Taylor's late-game goal line hit, and Rashad Reid's subsequent fumble recovery in Tech's end zone. With the team gathered in the North end zone, near Georgia Tech's students section, Moore delivered a fervent prayer as the players touched each other's shoulder pads and hands.
I've been a contributor in the past to Jim's show, and I always enjoy being a part of it. Check out the show when you get a chance.
