CGTC’s Freeman signs with Clark Atlanta

The Central Georgia Technical College men’s basketball program announced Thursday that Lawrance Freeman has signed with Clark Atlanta for the 2015-16 season.

Freeman, a 6-foot-4 guard from Miami, joined the Titans’ basketball program in 2014. In his single season with the Titans, Freeman averaged 14 points, seven rebounds and 1.1 assists per game, shooting 42.3 percent from the field.

He was named a Georgia Basketball Coaches Association All-State first team recipient. Freeman was also named to the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) All-Region second team, and he was a two-time Division I Player of the Week.

“Lawrance is the type of kid that every coach wants in their program,” CGTC head coach Reco Dawson said in a release. “His work ethic is unmatched, and he has a relentless will to be successful.”
