Early voting for the special election runoff for House District 146 is now underway.
Voters will choose between Shaw Blackmon and Larry Walker III, both Republicans, to complete the term of former House Majority Leader Larry O’Neal, R-Bonaire.
O’Neal retired from the Legislature this year to take a judgeship at the Georgia Tax Tribunal.
Blackmon and Walker were culled from a three-man race in July in which none of the candidates took at least 50 percent of the vote, which is required to win. Kelly Burke finished third in the election.
