Houston’s wheelchair football team to play local celebrities in fundraiser

A group of well-known individuals in Warner Robins will compete against the Sharks, the 2014 state champion wheelchair football team, this week.

On Tuesday, the Houston County Sharks will host their fifth annual “local celebrity” wheelchair football game as a fundraiser. The Sharks will face off against the Houston County Guppies at 6 p.m. at Northside High School.

The Guppies’ roster will include Houston County schools Superintendent Mark Scott, Warner Robins Mayor Randy Toms, Southside Baptist pastor Jerry Walls and others.

Tickets are $5 at the door.
