Move quickly if you’d like to try to get a child into prekindergarten at Lindsey Elementary School in Warner Robins.
On Monday morning, the school announced it had nine openings to offer children living outside the attendance zones on a first-come, first-served basis if they are not already in a Bright from the Start pre-K program.
The future students must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1. Only a parent or legal guardian can register a student, using a form available from the school at 81 Tabor Drive. The forms must be taken to Central Registration at the Bert Rumble Complex, 303 S. Davis Drive.
Parents must have a collection of documents including parental or guardian photo ID; certified birth certificate; lease or mortgage; secondary proof of residency such as government mail or a utility bill; Social Security card or waiver; immunization certificate and record of ear, eye and dental screening. For more information, call Director of Special Programs Ron Wilson at 478-988-6330, ext. 10330.
