The Bibb County Board of Education is seeking public input on the reapportionment of school district maps Monday.
A public hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the school system’s board room at 484 Mulberry St, in downtown Macon, according to an announcement from Bibb schools.
The school system recommends that those who want to speak to the board arrive 10 minutes early and fill out a request form.
District maps are redrawn every decade to incorporate population trends after U.S. Census Bureau data is released.
Attendees will be able to look at a tentative map at the hearing, and board members will hold a called meeting on the matter at 6:45 p.m.
