FVSU postpones Wednesday lecture to later this month

Fort Valley State University has postponed a lecture originally planned for Wednesday to Jan. 25 because of wintry weather.

Historian, author and professor Lewis Baldwin was scheduled to speak at the Pettigrew Center at 6 p.m. Wednesday as part of the John W. Davison Lecture Series. The event will now take place Jan. 25 at the CTM Auditorium at 6 p.m., university spokeswoman Vickie Oldham said.

Baldwin will deliver a lecture called “Remembering Martin Luther King Jr. in the Age of Obama.”
