Mercer's Upward Bound program taking applications

Mercer University’s Upward Bound program is taking applications for new recruits, according to a news release from the organization.

Upward Bound provides support to prepare Bibb County high school freshman and sophomores for college entrance.

Students must be either from low-income families; from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor’s degree; or low-income, first-generation military veterans who are preparing to enter postsecondary education.
