Mercer University’s Tift College of Education will hold a free information session Wednesday for teachers interested in applying to its new doctoral program in curriculum and instruction.
The drop-in event will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Lee Alumni House, 1270 Ash St., in Macon.
The new doctoral program will start this fall and is aimed for working teachers with a master’s degree and three years of experience who want to become more influential instructors or researchers within their schools, school systems and communities. The three-year evening and online program would offer teachers a T-7 level certificate.
