Career center airs Hutchings auto-technology program video

Hutchings Career Center’s nationally recognized auto-technology program is now featured in a four minute video produced by the Bibb County school.

The “Hutchings Auto Experience” includes interviews with Hutchings automotive students, its instructor Sonny Reeves and Macon area auto dealerships, which employ the Hutchings students, according to a school news release.

Reeves, a master technician and former Bibb County Teacher of the Year, says the school’s work-based learning program with local dealerships helps students prepare for automotive careers.

The public can access the video, written and produced by Hutchings Work-based Learning Coordinator Lawrence Mink and narrated by Macon broadcaster Bill Elder, at and click under the “Why I should attend Hutchings” link.
