Mercer to remain Legal Writing Institute host

Mercer University’s law school renewed a five-year contract to remain the host site for the Legal Writing Institute, according to a university news release.

The LWI is a nonprofit corporation that exchanges ideas about legal writing and provides a forum for research and scholarship about legal writing and legal analysis.

It has almost 2,000 members representative of ABA accredited law schools across the nation.

“We’re delighted that the connection between the LWI and Mercer Law School will continue,” said Mercer law professor Linda Berger, also founder and editor of the peer-reviewed journal of the Association of Legal Writing Directors.
