Two Bibb County school system students were selected to Disney’s Dreamers Academy of 2009.
One hundred high school students were selected from 4,000 nominees nationally, to attend the academy in Orlando, Fla., on Feb. 12-15, to focus on career choices. Students who show promise but may need more motivational support are targeted for the academy, according to a Disney news release.
Among the 10 high school students selected from Georgia are Jaqualla Foxworth, a Rutland High School student, and Nikkita Saunders, a Central High School student.
The Academy will be held at the Disney World resort and offer an innovative career inspiration program with workshops and motivational talks along with trips to theme parks.
