More students from bordering states can get in-state tuition at Middle Georgia State University.
The school is now offering in-state tuition rates for classes on its Cochran campus to new students from Alabama, Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Middle Georgia State offered this to students enrolled in its aviation programs on the Eastman campus earlier this year. In-state tuition for a full-course load is now $1,663 per semester, while out-of-state tuition is $4,480.
In other news, Middle Georgia State will offer select Saturday classes on its Warner Robins campus starting in January. The classes mix online assignments with in-person Saturday classes. Four Saturday classes will be offered during the first session from Jan. 13-March 3, and three during the second session from March 10-May 5.
