30 undergraduate students awarded $2,000 scholarships

Thirty Middle Georgia undergraduate students have been awarded R.A. Bowen Trust scholarships. They will receive up to $2,000 for one academic year, with the potential to have the scholarship renewed for up to three additional years.

The new recipients for 2018 are Millie Albritton, Sarah Baldree, Anna Boswell, LaShadrian Bryant, Sarai Daniels, Hannah Elliott, Walter Fuller, Gregory Gilbert, Emerald Gordon, Caitlan Graham, Noah Grant, Sarah Beth Heath, David Hudgins, Jeremy Jenkins, Afnan Khan, Elizabeth LaPish, Adam Leverett, Nicholas Maiorana, William Martin, Ogechi Nwokeocha, Elizabeth O’Dell, Shope Olagunju, Faith Parker, Jordan Pitts, Adam Rex, Clair Rinehart, Ryan Thompson, Kristin Watson, John Wharton and Kellie White.

Students are eligible if they plan to attend college full time at Macon at Wesleyan College or Mercer University and are from Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach or Twiggs counties. The R. A. Bowen Trust was created by R. A. Bowen in 1943.
