Northside High wins second place at Knowledge Bowl

Members of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America at Northside High School recently won second place at the state Knowledge Bowl. The team was one of 16 in Georgia to compete, and members were tested on subjects such as nutrition, early childhood education and consumer economics.

The group also participated in the brochure competition and a leadership motivational rally. All events were held at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry.

Northside team members were Yolanda Morin, James Stephens, Masona Fofana, Jewel Blount, Fatimah Fofana, Alexis Monroy and Kayla White. Carla Jessup and Jill Massee served as advisers.
