Perry High Junior ROTC ‘exceeds standards’

Perry High School’s Air Force Junior ROTC earned the highest possible rating at a recent evaluation. The instructors and cadets earned a unit score of “Exceeds Standards” from Headquarters Air Force Junior ROTC representative Betty Maldonado.

Cadet Chris Collins received the “Top Performer” award, and Corps Commander Cadet Col. Keara McAnally and Cadet Morgan McLeod were also honored with individual awards.

Retired U.S. Air Force Col. Craig Lightfoot and Chief Master Sgt. Robert Spears are the aerospace science instructors for the unit.
