Students in Perry High School’s drama department are doing more extensive videography work, thanks to equipment received through a grant.

Joe Sendek, drama teacher and director, applied for a Studio in a Box grant from Education Sports Entertainment. Valued at more than $30,000, it landed the department equipment and software used in professional products.

Students now have access to a new computer, Blue-ray burner, two HD video cameras, microphones, Adobe products, computer storage, and training and technical support. They have been able to film and broadcast high-quality HD videos, including their original play “A Blue Sky Tomorrow.”
